Building Better Opportunities multi-agency Big Lottery Fund / ESF funded programme, ‘New Leaf ’ is an innovative project, targeting individuals furthest away from the labour market in the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) area, to help them in their journey towards employment.
Led by Warrington-based Golden Gates Housing Trust, working in partnership with 30 other organisations, New Leaf will support 2,800 people over a three year period, providing a tailored service, giving individual support and direction and supporting them to get closer to employment
At CWA we specialise in supporting people through the challenges they face. We are experts in relationship dynamics and have helped 1000’s of local women to build better futures for themselves and their children over 40 years.
The New Leaf CAT workers will work across Cheshire, building relationships with communities and local organisations to identify women who face barriers to employment. The CAT team will support women to engage with the New Leaf Community Mentors in their area, addressing some of the practical challenges they face. The New Leaf Administrative Officer will support the New Leaf CAT Worker Team in all administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will be committed to equality and diversity and to removing barriers to engagement, focussed on excellence and have a track record of identifying creative solutions to the challenges faced by people with complex vulnerabilities.
