Cheshire West Communities Together

 

Cheshire West Communities Together is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers community development support in the communities in Cheshire West and Chester with the most significant health inequalities. This service is part of a broader Early Intervention and Prevention programme commissioned by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

 

We are now looking to recruit a community development worker  who will take an asset based approach to community development supporting residents to nurture, build and sustain physical and personal assets to improve people’s life chances and enhance positive health and wellbeing.

 

 

Community Development Worker

Salary: £26.089 per annum (pro rata based on 37 hour week)

Hours: 30 per week

 

The post will be responsible for delivering community development support in targeted communities to help those communities to build their capacity to improve health and wellbeing in their area. The main target areas are in Chester, Ellesmere Port and Winsford.
