Cheshire West Communities Together is a new not for profit organisation that delivers community development support in the communities in West Cheshire with the most significant health inequalities. This is part of a broader three year early intervention and prevention programme recently commissioned by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
We have recruited a small community development team that will take an asset based approach to community development, supporting residents to nurture, build and sustain physical and personal assets to improve people’s life chances and enhance positive health and wellbeing. We are now looking to complete the team by recruiting an experienced part time administrator.
The post we are now recruiting to is:
Community Development Administrator
£9.05 per hour plus option to join workplace pension scheme
16 – 20 hours per week based in Chester
We’re looking for a customer focused Administrator with good office administration skills to support this exciting new project.
The successful applicant will have two years’ experience in supporting office administration. They will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the confidence to work on their own initiative,supporting the community development team. An interest in supporting people working in the community and working in partnership with a wide and diverse range of organisations is desirable.
