About the role
n-compass Northwest are looking to recruit x2 Carers Support Workers to join our Cheshire East Carers’ Hub team to support unpaid Carers 18+ caring for someone of any age. The role includes, working in local communities and with health and social care professionals to identify Carers, assessing Carers needs and coproducing and achieving support plans, providing information and advice relevant to their caring role and about the condition of the person they care for, signposting and supporting access to other services including short break opportunities, delivering support groups, and facilitating peer support.
We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting unpaid Carers to reduce the impacts of their caring role by providing professional and quality support. We are looking for people with excellent skills in, oral and written communication, listening, support planning and delivery, IT and case management systems, 1-2-1 and group support, and team work. We are looking for people who are highly motivated, hardworking, flexible and most importantly people who really want to make a difference.
