The Funding Network is an opportunity for those involved in fundraising for their organisations to meet with each other. Recognising that fundraising is a difficult, often relentless task, it’s important to have the opportunity to meet others to share ideas, encourage and support one another. Part of the funding network are the two Meet the Funder events that are held every year, which gives you the opportunity to meet funders face to face to ask any questions and discuss potential funding applications with. On two other occasions, we will meet together to discuss different areas of fundraising e.g. legacies, making the most of gift aid, developing a regular giving programme etc… These meetings are opportunities to learn from each other and we aim to have representatives from organisations sharing their experiences rather than being led by a CVS Development Officer.
The network events are held at various venues across Cheshire East to allow participation by everyone, so if you have a free venue to use for future events please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
