It is difficult for staff, and especially for volunteers to know what boundaries should exist between them and service users, and what to do if these are being broken. This training will look at how staff and volunteer maintain professional boundaries with service users and with each other.

Can people be friends, can you exchange presents, can someone come to your house? This training will look at how staff and volunteer maintain professional boundaries with service users and with each other. 

This session will help learners:

• Understand what boundaries are;
• Understand why having boundaries is important;
• Be able to deal with situations where boundaries may be compromised.
 
Who's it for?
Important for all VCFS staff, volunteers and trustees.

This course links into the Governance section of the GRIPP Checklist. The course will be delivered by one of our team at CVS Cheshire East. This course is subsidised by Cheshire East Lifelong Learning.

  • CVS members: Only £5
  • Non-members: £25
