This session is aimed at anyone who is considering becoming a Trustee for a charity or community group or new Trustees who would like to learn more. The training will provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of a trustee of a small group or charity.

Introduction to Trustee Roles and Responsibilities - Tuesday 22nd November, 7pm-9pm
Virtual Training on Zoom

During this course you will have the opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to the organisation and the importance of the role in the governance of the charity.

Who's it for?

Anyone who is either new to being a trustee, thinking of becoming a trustee or would like to further update their knowledge about what trusteeship means.

Outcomes for Learners:

  • An overview of the responsibilities of a trustee
  • An opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to their organisation
  • The importance of their role in the governance of the organisation
  • An understanding of ways to develop their trustee board

The course will be delivered by the CVS Cheshire East team. This course is subsidised by Cheshire East Lifelong Learning.
