This course is spread over 3 sessions, each covering a different aspect of advanced bid writing. With two 2-hour sessions and a final one-to-one session, this training will help you to target and develop your bids to maximise chances of funding success. This course is funded by Cheshire East Lifelong Learning and is free to attend for VCFS organisations in Cheshire East.

This training will assess if you are applying for the right funding, understand how to enhance your applications and identify what factors can improve success of your bids. This cohort will be led by Aoife Middlemass and Natalie McGregor (CVS Cheshire East development officers). Using action learning techniques, these sessions will be very interactive, sharing ideas and learning from each other.

We ask that you attend all three sessions if possible as this training is designed to build on knowledge developed throughout the course and includes take-home tasks between sessions. Please let us know in advance if you think you will not be able to attend one of the sessions and we can make adjustments as needed.

Who’s it for?

The course is ideal for organisations that have some bid writing experience but would like to develop their skills further. This could include VCFS staff, trustees and volunteers who are involved in writing funding bids.

  • Wednesday 30th March (1pm-3pm)
  • Wednesday 20th April (1pm-3pm)

    • During these one-to-ones you will have the chance to ask any specific questions and get advice on your current grant applications

This session is funded by Cheshire East Lifelong Learning.
