Free session for CVS members, small charge for non-members
During this course you will have the opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to the organisation and the importance of the role in the governance of the charity.
Who's it for?
Anyone who is either new to being a trustee, thinking of becoming a trustee or would like to further update their knowledge about what trusteeship means.
Outcomes for Learners:
- An overview of the responsibilities of a trustee
- An opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to their organisation
- The importance of their role in the governance of the organisation
- An understanding of ways to develop their trustee board
This course links into the Governance section of the GRIPP Checklist.
The course will be delivered by a Development Officer at CVS Cheshire East.
*Cancellation: Please note that although this course is free to CVS members – non-attendance without 5 working days' notice of cancellation will result in you being invoiced a £20 administration fee. Non-member organisations will be invoiced the full course fee. This cancellation fee is to assess genuine interest in courses and cover the time spent in administration and preparation of the training should it not reach minimum numbers required by funders as a result of non-attendance.
