Recruiting Volunteers - including the best methods, writing attention grabbing role descriptions and best practice when interviewing and ways of safeguarding your organisation, service users and volunteers.
Retaining Volunteers - including induction, supervision, getting the buy in of staff and trustees, training, motivation, saying thanks and when to say goodbye.

The session will be delivered by a Mark Smith a Development Officer at CVS Cheshire East. Mark has worked in the VCF Sector for 14 years with a variety of organisations and roles. His main background is Volunteer Management but he has a great deal of experience in all of the essential topics when supporting organisations. His experience, knowledge and skills are ideal to deliver the CVS training courses.
