This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards. FAA are an Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
Who's it for?
Those who are the lead safeguarding contact for their organisation and/or require an in-depth understanding of management, responding to and reporting of safeguarding issues.
This session will cover:
- Safeguarding legislation and guidance
- Indictors of abuse or neglect
- Making judgements
- Communication
- Roles and responsibilities
- Sharing of information
- Dealing with and reporting of allegations and complaints
This course links into the Governance and People sections of the GRIPP Checklist.
The course will be delivered by Edenfield, specialist trainers.
