Who’s it for?

Ideal for anyone who is new to planning community events or people who have a little experience and would like to pick up some hints and tips to make their next event even better.

Aim of the session:

To support community and voluntary organisations to understand the key elements of event planning and start to develop an action plan.

The session will cover:

• Planning and timelines
• Event essentials
• Main considerations
• Working with partners
• Funding and income

The session will be delivered by Mark Smith, Development Officer at CVS Cheshire East. Mark has a number of years’ experience planning and delivering events locally as well as being a key person in organising our recent ‘Vol Fest’ event.

Cancellation 
CVS Cheshire East Members- Please note that although the session is free to Members- non attendance/cancellation without 3 working days' notice will result a charge of £20 being invoiced.
Non-member organisations who do not attend/ cancel without 3 working days' notice will be charged the full course fee.
