Christmas should be a magical and joyful time for all children of all ages but that's not always so. With your support we can help change that. For the 5th year CVS Cheshire East are running a Toy Appeal to bring some much needed cheer to families and their children facing tough times this Christmas.

We are inviting members of the public and organisations alike to donate toys to the appeal to help make Christmas morning magical for as many children as possible. Without these donations some of the children involved wouldn't receive any other gifts at Christmas, which is something that we wouldn't want any family to have to go through. Year on year the demand for toys has been greater than we have been able to collect and this year we want to collect more toys then ever before and not leave anyone disappointed.

The toys donated to the appeal will be distributed to registered Cheshire East charities and organisations who work directly with families and children in need.

‘A number of the children we are working with have chaotic home lives with domestic violence and substance misuse a regular occurrence.’
‘We help families whose loved ones are here at the hospice for end of life care.’

‘We distribute to children and young people who care for a member of thier family at home, many come from familes who are financially disadvantaged.’

  • You can simply donate a toy or two to the appeal at one of our collection points (listed below)

  • Your staff could start a toy collection at work

  • You could share the appeal information with your friends and family or on social media.

  • You could make a cash donation to enable our charity to purchase toys on your behalf. (Cheques payable to CVS Cheshire East)

  • You or your organisation could take part in a fund raising event for the appeal

If you have any enquires, want more information about the appeal or to pledge your support in another way please contact either andrew.luisis@cvsce.org.uk or hannah.musa@cvsce.org.uk or call 01270 763100. We'll be happy to hear from you.

We are grateful to have returning support and help from AstraZeneca, Crewe Alexandra Football Club and Storage Boost in Crewe. We are also delighted to have many more new orgainisations pledge there support this year .

Donated toys must be unwrapped, new or of perfect condition suitable for an age range between birth and 18 year olds and delivered to a collection point before Wednesday 14th December. No violent or war related toys can be accepted example swords, guns or toy soldiers.
