Working in Partnership

CVS Cheshire East works together with our statutory partners to enhance the service that it delivers to the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector acoss Cheshire East. 

For example, CVS Cheshire East is funded by Cheshire East Council to facilitate Congress (the Voice of the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector) and together they bring added value to the work of encouraging public engagement  and participation at decision-making level. 

CVS Cheshire East has worked with Cheshire East and Central & Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust to similarly engage with the sector and has organised two successful events funded by CECPCT.  The Engaging with Health Structures event  gave organisations the chance to consult about the re-structuring of health services.  The Volunteers Gala night celebrated the contribution that volunteers make to our society.  It also raised the profile of the benefits of volunteering to health and wellbeing and added weight to the healthy lifestyles agenda.
